I play games on occasion. Twitter took the kids. He/Him.
Plus shoutout to gearbox for letting everyone on the team give a message. Really mature and hope more studios do this.

Theres a difference between the game that made you fall in love and the game that is the best.

Idunno. You can disagree if you want with an example above. But I cant remember a recreation to a franchise since maybe mario wonder or zelda that hasnt seen this reaction in some form. And again opinion is opinion. Valid to believe new rendition is bad. I just want to dig into why this is case.

Borderlands 4 is another good example. Or pokemon scarlet. Both the best of class in many categories. BL4 with one of the best feels control wise and solid story backing. Scarlet with best in class story and an open world fans craved from sword/shield. And both have fans of old games that disliked.

I just want to know what it is that makes this a common trend with recreation, reimagining, etc. And especially in 2025, there is SO MUCH sentiment that new is bad. An old comfort or friend, being seen as irreplaceable yet desiring those same feelings that helped them find their passion.

Like halo unlimited. A fantastic game for what it promised. A f2p halo game that controls better than old halo objectively. But its shuttering soon. Why? Did old fans not like? What percentage of that game is old fans vs. new? I’m not saying one side is better, or a perspective is wrong.

Its almost like people wanting nostalgia the feeling they had as kids, but this also being unrealistic expectations. And then studios cant meet these expectations while sometimes putting out objectively better products than predecessor. Its odd. Is this new? Or did the same happen decades ago?

This guy has a HISTORIC rookie season, and then the team of trainers, coaches and staff cant treat him right. Cant give him any advice to bulk up. Or minimize risk when theres no benefit. Matt stafford sits out the whole preseason and is an mvp candidate. If he was in washington, he’d be on the IR

And yes im more butt hurt cuz hes on my fantasy. I really thought they would be smarter. Like this is their franchise guy and you are bringing him into a tough def at home. The fact he isnt ready when you are out of playoffs. Truly sad. Miserable. Not even a home game.

C418 boom was wanderstop soundtrack and wanderstop FM. Two seriously brilliant video game osts by one of the most iconic video game composers. Def give a listen, the minecraft artist still brings the heat.

A bright point with the game is how pokemon interact with world, and the style of the game looks great. I think its a more fun game to watch than actually play

The only brightside…ui is good? I dunno i am struggling to find things to like. I was playing for 6-7 hours hoping it got better at some point. And a bright spot or two came up, but yeah this is a tough one to play through tbh

Biggest issue is traversal is very boring, the routes are very small and uninteresting to reenter, the day night gimmick isnt good, poor story and mid combat system that is honestly downgrade from arceus. Very little that i do like.

I should reiterate my least favorite. Again i didnt play lets go that may be worse objectively.
