That’s great, I personally didn’t share it but I watched the whole thing and was thankful it was made. Again, different views on it :)

I think I already clarified this, I think the video was necessary and Jen didn’t share it she just replied saying transparency is good, and it is.

I have been one of the vocal ones on IG :) and I’m an open book if someone DMs me

You are more emotionally affected by this as your partner is being bullied from it, I see that, and again I’m sorry that was an outcome. I see it as informing people of many frustrating goings on behind the scenes. Different viewpoints.

Didn’t affect the strike outcome, since it was released when a tentative agreement was announced. I do think it affected things — It informed people about things we were frustrated about this whole time. That felt necessary.

That doesn’t bother me. A reporter is not on the side of employers nor with the actors. Again, I don’t agree with 100% of the things in the video, but I think it was necessary. A lot of people were feeling unheard and helpless and the video shows why.

I don’t think it was detrimental to healing, I think it had necessary information that should be public knowledge. There is more behind the scenes that most people don’t even know. I definitely am ok with the video’s content. I’m just sorry people are being bullied

It was released a day after the strike was called, I’m sure the OP meant to release it during the strike, but again they’re not in the industry so have no allegiance to SAG.

I feel your anger, and I’m sorry you’re feeling that way and I’m sorry your partner has felt heat from the video. I still do think it shared important facts, so I stand by that. No one should be being bullied by fanbases though

It informed people of what was going on behind the scenes, there were some things that a lot of people were not happy with about neg comm that were included in there. Again, a lot of us who work this contract weekly/monthly were feeling unheard and helpless
June 14, 2025 at 3:14 PM
Yeah there were definitely some small mistakes in there that mostly a SAG actor would know. The HOYO issue is what has riled up the fan base. Anyway, we’re all in the same boat, I’m happy to chat and tell you why continuing to strike scared me person to person too ❤️

When you work this contract as a career, it can truly hurt your income and family’s health insurance, so this strike felt long over for many of us. I’m glad they kept pushing at the end of the day, but many wanted to keep striking even after the wins, and negotiations are a give and take.

The video was just screenshots of what people said, it was factual. If people are feeling ashamed of what they said in a relatively public forum, they should sit with that.

A reminder that Jennifer did not have anything to do with the video. Older working actors who have paved the way and created amazing careers are not the enemy, they’re ones to learn from. At the end of the day the employers we struck against were and now are again, employers, not the enemy.

Blaming me might feel convenient, but it dismisses the broader concerns shared by many. What you’re labeling as consensus was shaped by only a portion of members, not the whole. It’s a charged issue, happy to talk more anytime.
