it's so alienating though because I know if I had just been allowed out of the house to socialize with my peers (aside from being completely and utterly ostracized at school) I probably would have turned out better

like I literally am your textbook autistic man. i do very poorly in the small talk conversation realm but ask me about dinosaurs or rodents or any other things I've read a million books about and I know so much but I'm so stupid in terms of culture and social aspects
