Going by this interpretation of Lapras, without the shell it would have a pretty serpentine body plan. Perhaps in combat the shell can be shattered, revealing the original creature. With all that in mind, I’d say Leviathan would make the most sense. Sorry for the wall, just want to justify my view.😅

As for Monster Hunter, Piscine Wyvern usually take the characteristics of fish. Mostly spending time in water and being notable sluggish on land. Leviathans tend to be more serpentine and elongated forms. They’re also sluggish on land, but are notably better than Piscine Wyvern.
