Are you sure? It’s very amateur stuff. I’d really appreciate that. I’d like someone to read it - whatever the feedback it would be very valuable. It’s a two part story of 2k words in total.

Plain choc digestives, when you can get them. Seem to be scarce round here.

My new short story has a talking raven in it. Great simbolism attached to such creatures.

I’m beginning to think that our own reality is made up religious influences, myths, spirituality and identity .. all in a social mix. The various strands are too closely entwined to be able to tease them out. This is overlain by our own sense of self and belonging. People are complicated.

They are both black birds of the corvid family. The main difference is their size. The raven is approx a third bigger than a crow with a massive bill, fingered wings and in flight you can see a wedge shaped tail. Their calls are distinctive too. A crow goes ‘caaaw!’ A raven makes a deep ‘gromp!’

I have not had this experience. Not sure about the idea of a soul. I feel this is a religiosa construct and as such I’m a bit suspicious. I am fascinated by the social history surrounding religious beliefs and observations and the role this continues to play in the shaping of societies.

Usually about travel or search, or both. I understand that the work one’s brain does at night is massive, hence the value of quality sleep. It’s the time when memory is developing and experiences of the day are sorted. This, I admit, is reductive but it gives me a picture of what’s happening.

My dreams are mostly about crazy situations that cannot be resolved rationally. Shapes shift, time shifts. Those things that you need to know are stable become unstable. These are ideas that I’m exploring in my writing - the dreams came first … I think.

Pale blue Gouda - now there’s a thing😂

These are interesting experiences. I have been dreaming vividly recently but have not been able to make any sense of them. That, I suspect, is the thing about most dreams. Certainly in my case there seems to be no discernible link with my conscious reality.
