AFAIK Internet Archive uses controlled digital lending for some (mostly modern era) books. I don't access modern book on IA often but i think it work just like a library but without physical barrier.

here in Vietnam most (if not all) Internet Service Providers blocked www.reddit.com domain starting with Viettel and VNPT in January 22 and FPT in Feburary 24 lol =((
