My point still stands, laws once in place get amended and relaxed, I understand this has happened in Canada.
Ultimately people are fallible intentionally or unintentionally and mistakes wil undeniably happen at some point in time.

I believe that assisted dying and the death penalty are intrinsically right but due to man’s propensity to corruption, abuse and mistakes I would not advocate for either.

Possibly not unreasonable but not really necessary either.

So you could have just said that the UK voted for it rather than making a dig at Luton.
Sorry to be defensive but as imperfect as it is, Luton gets an unfair amount of stick already.

Assisted dying and the death penalty are not intrinsically wrong but people cannot be trusted to either make mistakes or abuse the system and so, unfortunately neither should be countenanced.
