Yes a freeze is never a good idea. Smaller increases over time is much more efficient and more ratepayers would be happy to see that then see a huge increase once the freeze is over.

The other thing was about the current councilor helping the new people interested, like with going through the paperwork with them and helping them out.

This 1 person has said they were not rerunning next year and so she has gone to people that she thinks would make good councilors and have tried to recruit them and take them under her wing. So she's trying to recruit her own replacement. Thought that was a great idea.

i went. i thought some of the break out sessions were good. I went to the recreation one(which i would love for them to come tell my residents what they had to say) and making the last 12 months count.. that was also a good one. The speakers were also very good

Totally agree with you Fiona, Most young people when they get to the voting age have no clue about voting. Some don't even know its a thing. But not knowing what it does and its your right to have a say in things. #mgmt0180
