For me it was when I realised that if this (the cringe thing) is all that’s keeping me going right now, then how cringe can it be when it offers me so much value? I don’t have much that I enjoy so I’ll be damned if I let someone else tell me that it’s wrong to be into it, no matter how ‘cringe’.
