Titled The Ride of the Falcatakely—a play on Wagner’s The Ride of the Valkyrie—our diorama depicts a scene you might have witnessed some seventy million years ago on the coastal floodplains of what is now Madagascar. The apex predator Majungasaurus snaps at a flock of early birds called, Falcatakely, as they circle the skeletal remains of a sauropod, Rapetosaurus, sinking into the muddy floodplain during the rainy season, on its way to immortalization in stone.

Deb and I had an incredible time at a screening of JAWS at the Netflix Egyptian Theater in Hollywood this past Memorial Day! As part of their film series “1975-50 is the New Hollywood," we couldn't pass up the chance to see this classic on the big screen for its 50th Anniversary.

I forgot to mention that Deb and I saw PENGUIN LESSONS last month, just two days after witnessing the Tufts graduate student being grabbed off the street by federal immigration officials. The latter informed and gave weight to the former in a profound and chilling way. #disappeared #FilmSky

Deb and I finally watched the much-talked-about body horror film "THE SUBSTANCE". While we found it mildly entertaining, with a fun performance by Demi Moore, we couldn't help feeling it was an overly long episode of Night Gallery, which abandoned its intriguing premise in favor of wretched excess.
