Here at Goring we took Freddie along our part of the Royal Chilterns Way a few weeks ago, in order to point out the crazy diversion the route takes at South Stoke due to a short length where bikes are banned.

A very satisfying outcome at the @oxfordshirecc.bsky.social elections today. Firstly the brilliant win by @maggieflpv.bsky.social and then the @libdemsoxon.bsky.social winning overall control. It made all the leaflet deliveries with @beealing worthwhile in Goring and Woodcote Division.

Work has started on Station Rd in Goring on Thames. The much locally derided road will finally be resurfaced and a pedestrian priority lane installed to hopefully make pedestrians feel a bit safer. @oxfordclarion.bsky.social
