Trade Sosa? You’re kidding, right? You trade Bohm or simply send him down or DFA him. Bohm has had 5 MLB season to turn into the 1st round draft pick everyone has been waiting for. He’ll be 29 in August. It’s not happening. Move on. Even paying Bohm arbitration salaries is not worth it anymore.

That’s exactly right. Turner is a great player but his consistency is what lacks. He cannot be the leadoff hitter if he has long stretches where he gets on base at a .275 rate. The stretches where he’s on base at a .400+ rate are awesome but the walk rate is why Schwarber works in the lead off spot

Baseball Reference shows Abreu’s career oWAR as 61.6 and dWAR as -10.9. Utley’s numbers are 51.3 and 17.3 respectively. Utley was a good defensive second baseman, Abreu was a poor defensive outfielder.
