Firmly in the pocket of Big Anarchy

It offers an optimistic view of the future, something sort of rare in media these days (it’s understandably kinda hard to picture a better world right now) and I think most people see that, but many aren’t yet familiar with the politics that would be required to actually build that world

I think the main tension at the heart of solarpunk spaces is that to some it’s an aspirational political movement, and to others it’s just a vibe/aesthetic. I personally don’t think any genre should be considered “punk” without at least undertones of anarchist values.
