I'm saying bye to any pressure.

I might design something in London, but mainly for my own enjoyment. Not with any expectation of it being marketable.

I guess that's the main part of what I'm burnt out on. Marketing. Maybe also logistics.

Anyway, I'm off to learn Thai. Lots of love. xxx

I might go to a convention in Melbourne in October, but I expact to be wandering. Exploring. Having a gander. Maybe going up and down in a systematic manner, but not even worrying if I don't see all the spaces.

To heck with fomo.

To heck with measuring 'success' or 'value' through numbers.

Thanks to the amazing @mmmmmmmercury.bsky.social for sparking the thoughts.

Well, rather than just launching into strategy/life/whatever advice, just ask first.

I wouldn't call it 'teasing out'. More 'checking in'. It's a fairly direct way to ask, whereas 'teasing out' often has connotations of something more indirect.

I feel like the quote is encouraging designers to make new types of games?

But there's also value in folk doing something over and over, iterating between games, and trying to use their expert knowledge to focus on the overall polish rather than novelty.

Oh wait, sorry, are you talking about books?

I feel like most BG characters don't have enough clearly-communicated traits for us to tell if they are autistic and/or ADHD or not.
