Damn good to see not everyone is willing to look the other way.

Unfortunately...I'm sure once they're fired there will be a group of unscrupulous assholes willing to snap them up.

Let's hope the threat of losing their police pension is enough to keep them in line

I'll tell him.

I'll tell him I want his outfit so he should give it to me.

It's hard to feel sorry for the people who get exactly what they wanted...

You can't even use 'Your' correctly. And I'd gladly launch Musky boy into orbit where he can do the most good for humanity by staying there away from an internet connection.

Again, the reason SpaceX actually functions has nothing to do with Musk. Mrs Shotwell is the real MVP

Nobody believes the Cybertruck is good for anything other than tricking idiot techbros.

The Model 3, S & Y all have much more real world driving data, experience, and iterative design.

You're justified hating on the fascist manbaby, but at least acknowledge the engineers working behind it all.

Track Record of Explosions. Let's compare Falcon 9 vs Starship.

Starship, while experimental and ongoing.

Falcon 9 has become the 2nd most successful rocket in history, and that's now close to contention as the Soyuz has had some recent issues.

Again, not playing Musk Fanboy here. Shotwell.

I guess I'm still in the "SPAAAAACE!" mode of my inner child seeing things streak across the sky is much more exciting than setting up a perfect shot in the telescope and having it ruined. 😅 Hopefully we get better avoidance tracking / algorithms to paint out the known objects.

Ozone and magnetosphere? No, falling sats don't 'punch holes' in either.

Launch byproducts, though, I do agree suck. That's absolutely a concern. However, keep in mind that (until recently with the NASA cuts) environmental protection does require sat launches and orbital resources.

Oh trust me, Musky and his Nazi side are not getting any love from me or my fam. However, you're badmouthing a bunch of ex NASA engineers making great tech and that's just silly. Not to mention Starlink has planned de orbiting / object avoidance and tracking... so, what's your issue?
May 11, 2025 at 5:11 PM
With respect, you're badmouthing awesome & rad space tech.

Members of my family have jumped onto Starlink and finally received useful, reliable broadband when the ILEC's of the area basically laughed and charged them double for 1/4 the bandwidth.

Gwen Shotwell's company (fu Elon) is good stuff.

You can vote at any Elections Canada location no matter the area/region early.

Do it. It's simple, easy and ensures you aren't stuck at the last second to spread that great democracy goodness
