I've been sitting jobless for almost 2 years now, and I've been slowly making peace with just quitting art altogether.

I've been making comics my whole life, and I've never felt like anything other than an amateur. I don't even know why I kept it up so long.

I've never met anyone offline that was enthusiastic about my work, not even my friends and family. I don't even bring it up in conversation because I'm ashamed. For all I know, I wasted all this time for nothing.

Someone was nostalgic about Lucy the other day. I could say it makes me feel old, but the fact that someone had Lucy on their mind enough to be nostalgic is a net positive for me. Maybe the last decade wasn't a waste.
