Part of the justification of the calls for forgiving debt is that public universities USED to be very low cost. The change over the last 50 years placed more of the cost on the shoulders of students requiring them to take out loans.

Powell said there is downward trend in employment and upward trend with inflation. These are not good signs. Add to that the fact that much economic data is NOT being reported. The administration blames the shutdown, but if the news was good, you know they'd be publishing.
