It disproportionately affected neighborhoods with fewer community buildings, worse infrastructure, and lesser sense of community. Recent cuts to NOAA will make natural disasters, like the 1995 Chicago heat wave, even more damaging. NOAA is a vital administration that provides accurate weather & climate information. They work to inform people of natural disasters & how to prepare for them.
