We have been able to provide illustrations for Hypnobirthing Books, Midwifery Textbooks and NHS services, as well as donating midwifery related posters, products and money to help charities such as MEDAIR and many more.

Student Nurse Studygram started as a branch from the original to cater for the overlap of human anatomy with nursing. I’m incredibly keen to improve my offering here in general anatomy and physiology, and nursing skills.

Student Midwife Studygram started it’s own Instagram account as a way of storing all the illustrations I would produce and it was a way of others seeing them if they found them helpful! Today it is very much a family affair with every member of my family having contributed in some way.

I didn’t find the academic side of Uni easy and that’s when Student Midwife Studygram was born. I found such joy in drawing all my notes and for what is not an easy degree I found it a very therapeutic activity which got me through, before qualifying in 2020 at the age of 31!

Everything went on hold for a while whilst we figured out being new parents as well as fighting the awful disease that is cancer. Time went by and the big “C” shrunk. My little boy started nursery and at the same time I then started my Midwifery degree at the University of Surrey in 2017.

The year went by and I handed in my final project in early labour with my son Noah. After that I took a year out to be with Noah and unknowingly would end up also caring for my husband when he was diagnosed with large cell Lymphoma.

I started my Midwifery journey in September 2014 when I started an access course at my local college. It was “Access for Health and Social Care” and I loved it. I was 26 at the time and newly married and had just found out I was pregnant.
