Arendt sucks. Her take on the Eichmann trial was trash. She falls for the Nazi's shtick every time.

As an example, without Bernie, do you think Biden would have tried over and over to cancel student debt? Compare this style of politics to that of the Obama administration. What changed? Maybe a disappointing example, but still. 4/3

They don't use their position, or their time, creatively, while Bernie has been working non stop to build a movement to end the shame of the lack of universal healthcare in America, as one example. He's the undercurrent which has reshaped all of dem politics (see Biden's term) tho gets no credit.3/3

The others may seem similar to Bernie because they try to copy his rhetoric and muddy the waters, but in reality they are worlds apart. They spend their days selling themselves out, raising money non stop from rich donors, and it warps their entire conception of reality. 2/3

But it's not just one issue. It's an entire mode of being. Any normal politician is at risk of being destroyed by AIPAC, as we've seen recently. Bernie is able to pull it off by being so popular in his home state that he is untouchable. 1/3

"sanders is just not that different from other D pols"

99/100 US senators take money from AIPAC. Bernie is the one exception.

Is there a senator you think is better as passing bills through the current hellhole of the senate? If so who are they? I don't see much getting passed by anyone. Or if you would like to just call me stupid without refuting any of my points I suppose you could just do that too. 2/2

I am not interested in talking with you much longer. Your initial post about the post office seemed in reference to a 2016-era talking point about Sanders being an irrelevant senator. I argued he is about as relevant to the senate as any senator there is. 1/2

The original bill also would have created a modern CCC and implemented 12 weeks of paid family leave... before it was taken out by the the deranged duo. But my main point was that Bernie is a top dog amongst senate dems. He was entrusted with the most important committee during Biden's term.
March 26, 2025 at 3:15 AM
Perhaps I hallucinated one word---the word "council." See www.senate.gov/senators/lea... . Indeed he was critical of the final bill because he's a rational human being who cares about the welfare of the planet. The original bill would have cut carbon emissions far more than the current bill. 1/2

Are you taking issue with the veracity of any of the statements I made in my 266 character post, because if so I would like to hear it. Not a lot of space for hallucinations unfortunately.

Only one of the main architects of the inflation reduction act and passing biden's agenda via budget reconciliation as the chair of the all important budget committee... and is also one of the members of the senate democratic leadership council... but go off I guess

Sure, they may be doing things, but if we keep berating them they'll probably do even more things!
