Somewhat sane.
As a workplace union rep I wholeheartedly agree.
So many times people have needed help with an unsympathetic line manager/ corporate environment at what is a very difficult time.

And thanks to b/s like this people who have disabilities are reluctant to use such services when travelling as they feel the silent judging of people who have no concept of the struggles of living with something like, say, Multiple Sclerosis.

I just asked my wife, a connoisseur of Jilly Cooper novels, if she’d ever come across(!) that phrase.
You are a Bad Man!
😂

I hate being unwell as my wife, having MS, always finds it upsetting that she can’t do “nurse mode” in the way that society sort of expects women to.
Had a very bad back recently & it was like a comedy sketch as we went back & forth with “no, I can do it”, “no *I* can do it” over so many things…

Consumables are usually a safe bet.
I’m always delighted by some homemade cheese biscuits or peppermint creams.

GTA 3 or Vice City?

I mean, he’s purportedly a fully grown adult.
You’re allowed to eat whatever you want whenever you want mate, just like everyone else.
These numpties demand untrammelled freedoms but also want to be ordered by NF as to what is an acceptable dinner.
Overgrown public school babies.

I mean, a medical bed for some is an absolute necessity.

And personally I feel a tiny bit smug about our purchase every time I plug my phone into one of the usb ports on the arm of our reclining sofa.

You Only Live Thrice.

Thank you, that will be an Exec Producer credit for all time.

It is perhaps the most extraordinary piece of art that I’ve ever seen with my own eyes.

Enjoyed your observations on Traitors. (Wossy doing a Claudia parody with his clothing etc)
Was surprised that you hadn’t spotted just how Liz Truss a-like Kate is if you close your eyes and listen to her.
She even did a Jan Ravens style “I KNOW” in the last one!

Poor Nigel
The world was so much easier for those like him when everyone knew their place
🙄

Head to The Britons Protection for a wide range of whiskies.
Proper urinals too.

Sounds like the perfect excuse for pre dinner to me!

Happy memories of scattering a grandmother’s ashes in some posh public gardens (where you absolutely are not allowed to).
It was a favourite place of hers and she was always a bit of a rule breaker so it’s what she wanted.
Had to post lookouts whilst we did it, she’d have laughed at the sight of us!

This was a little message I got from mine the other day.
Smashing it! 😂

This is an illustration of my “we’re all lazy & rubbish” theory of everything

We know that generally either taxes have to rise or services have to be cut but we’ll punish whoever says that (see Theresa May)

Much like we know losing weight is eating less+exercise but we fall for that miracle trick

Think that’s betraying the circles he moves in.
In my very much working class logistics role everyone has to wear a lanyard with their ID/security pass be they managers, clerks, drivers, loaders, mechanics, cleaners…
Many modern work places are like this.

Currently have my mother staying with us for the week.
Out for coffee (& cake!) with her every day, as per her normal routine.
No idea how she affords it.
We’ve spent as much eating out this week as we did on a week in Florence earlier this year I think.

Pretty common to find a mix of some or all of that these days. Unless parents contribute a reasonable amount then their maintenance loan isn’t going to stretch much beyond accommodation.
Vegetables cheaper than meat, no booze cheaper than booze, religious groups = free community etc, etc.

I am wearing a pale grey turtleneck under a charcoal blazer to work today as a tribute.
Already been complemented on my attire by my wife.
