Also two addons I really like:
1) F2 is really handy for filling in geometry in a more intuitive way. Kind of hard to explain in a post like this 😄
2) 3D Viewport Pie Menus. I definitely have to turn some of these off, but most of them are really helpful.

1) Sliding vertices or edges along the shape with G+G. Then when you're in that mode, holding ALT lets you extend past the boundaries if need be.
2) I've started using Shift + G for "Select similar" a lot. Being able to quickly select a bunch of weird geometry that is "coplanar" etc is handy!
