Ok, I did the thing. Well, I did lots of things, but as far as publishing my first writing post on Substack, I did that.

Omg my emotions about how far I've come since 2013, when my graduating senior started kindergarten, are so high right now that I'm crying at a Sandra Boynton song.

[my reaction to an overheard conversation] The term "DUDE" is classically and canonically gender non-specific.

A reminder - don't use Amazon, but go to bookshops, which play a far more vital role in promoting literacy just by simply making books more visible, and allow you to find things by chance rather than by what the algorithm decides.
