I generally agree with this from @daveshap.bsky.social - though sometimes, I like the machine to cosplay a human, like it's a character in the Holodeck. It should just wait to explicitly be told to do that, and not be its default.

Maybe, just maybe, the ultra intelligent AI reasoning models that deliberately search for numerous sources and opposing views are not actually "brainwashed" by the "lamestream media" and the fact that they are more historically and civically literate than pretty much any single human should tell you something when they conclude that American democracy is under threat. Just a thought.
