As a gay person with ASD I give everyone the pass.
Identity politics had it's use when the stage was "know these people exist" but it's fundamentally reductionist.
It should be left in the hands of academics to find minor trends for discrepancies of outcome for investigation.

It's this meme really. Philosophy tube has done a good job of exploring ideas more than specific personal politics. You can gather some of it but the academic/philosophical method doesn't work in politics. I believe messaging does matter otherwise old correct theory would just "work"

Here's my "opinion that would get you crucified by the left" type thing.
1) The internet allows us to educate ourselved on every community on earth and historic attrocities and injustuces
2) This is a catch 22 because people who would have interacted "identity blind" are taught to be mistrustful

Whoops. Seems people have memory holed 2010 since it was the start of the "Everything is obviously awful" period. But Lib Dems will accept anything to get the numbers but in 2029 if these polls continue as is suddenly they'll discover their Reform principles. Should Labour/Tory pull back guess what?

This shows it best. Idiots like Streeting who BARELY scraped by his own bigotry from religion wouldn't have SURVIVED the persecution he is now inflicting.
If he'd have been born during Gay Rights he'd have died in the closet and now he's jumped straight across to the OTHER side of the issue.
