As I have repeatedly stated, this isn’t new.
The only difference is the government’s response.

“All five were charged with criminal damage and taken to trial.”

No proscription of any organisations.

So charge the individuals with vandalism, trespass and all the rest, like has been done before.

Proscribing protest groups is a dangerous and authoritarian precedent, it threatens our democratic freedoms.
If you target military bases with non-destructive protests, then you shouldn't have to worry about anything and shouldn't be punished at all.

If you break into military bases, and damage things? The book should be thrown directly at your head.
It’s not the first time military bases have been targeted by protesters, but it is the first time that a group engaged in such have been proscribed.

This is a disturbing precedent, especially when other groups like JSO are being considered for proscription too.

Protest is under threat in the UK.

Not a good look for Blackpool South
🧵BAT SIGNAL 🦇🏳️‍🌈 A friend of mine has tried to book accommodation in Blackpool for her and her wife. Wilshaw Suites, Blackpool asked her to ‘confirm your relationship’ and told her they ‘don’t allow same sexes’
