Because labour are meant to be better? Because devastating the poor whilst further enriching the wealthy is not what people want?

It was your media that cut the booing, the rest of the world got the unedited version

I had a similar experience today and I just ended up annoyed at myself for engaging in such a waste of time. I’ve noticed they always have the same sort of theme about not being the tories, as if that absolves them of any immoral choices starmer makes.

And I’ve tried to say that a non-eu state is still able to go to them and ask to open negotiations, but you refuse to accept that. Nobody said we controlled the process. Thank goodness this is over.

You really are ridiculous, I suspect your strategy is to just exhaust someone who doesn’t agree with you by making illogical conclusions from any argument they have made. You then proclaim you’ve won. Did the eu tell you they have no interest in negotiations?
January 29, 2025 at 1:12 PM
This is like chasing chickens. I know the eu holds all the cards, I know it has the strongest negotiation position. It is up to the uk to decide to make the overture to rejoin, and I know it’s up to the eu if that is acceptable. You’re saying the uk has no agency and that is untrue.

Of course that bans all countries from approaching them, starting talks or making overtures to see what is needed to join then. Is that what you’re saying?
January 29, 2025 at 12:45 PM
For goodness sake, why would we have to wait for them? Are you for real?
January 29, 2025 at 12:33 PM
Of course there’s an option, it’s called negotiation to join, that’s the stage you find out what the eu’s offer is. Just because you say it’s a fact it doesn’t mean it is, that’s your opinion, nothing else. Maybe you’re the one who is letting your politics blind you, pretty hypocritical imo

This makes me laugh, a cabinet that insists we’ve got to make the best of it (brexit), Wes streeting and the rest of them determined to sell off the nhs to their private healthcare donors, no intention to go after tax fraud, but you tell ‘lefties’ that this is the best we can get.

That does look good 👍💚

Too late. They’ve always been like that

The fish, and the van den graph generator that made your hair stick up.

I haven’t read either of those, which is surprising considering how much I’ve read throughout my life.

I’m a bit the same, there were numerous games where we played some great football but individual errors at critical points lost us the game. Doesn’t mean I wasn’t demoralised by the constant chucking away points. The killie game was a weird feeling, actually being optimistic before the game.

My wife and I (hibbies) watched you go 2-1 up, thought only the jambos would win it but wtf? How you lost that is a mystery.

As an ex-soldier, fuck em.

If you’re ok with it, I would be grateful if you let me know how you get on with this ( provided you do it and are happy to share) I’m sure loads of people are in exactly the same situation.
