I was fascinated by this at the time. I remember he started working on Noctis V, which looked promising, but sadly never got finished.

Yep definitely agree about NMS. I’ve played a bit of Elite Dangerous, but struggled to get into it, maybe it’s time to take another look. I’d like to try Star Citizen, but not sure if my gaming laptop will be up to the job…! Have you tried that? I’d be interested to see if it’s any good!

Great article! I played the Spectrum version back in the day, and was equally unbelievably hyped for Elite Frontier! I think No Man’s Sky is the only game that’s come close to the excitement I felt back then.
