Pulling the 1985 Black Widow 15s out of old vintage Peavey SP1 PA folded horns took a lot longer than expected. Not just awkward placement , angles etc. but wood had dry rot, screws rusted and heads came off etc. Think I’ll use them for small/medium club bass cabinets.

The latest by Michael Connelly, Nightshade , introduces a new lead, Stilwell. It’s as good as many other Bosch/Ballard and Lincoln Lawyer page turners. Enjoying extended breaks reading over the long weekend.

Also, the new DAW : Fender Studio seems like a good free app for one button recording of inspiration/ideas/‘quick demos. Has a built in metronome for practice.

Are you aware of inner dialogues? Like subvocal conversations between two points of view ? Do they ever become unpleasant or distracting? Are you familiar with biological brain basis for this phenomenon? I am deeply curious.

In our home state of North Carolina the supermajority in the state legislature is somewhat unraveling. New democratic leadership in governor, attorney general, superintendent of schools and capital city mayor races. All is not lost. “ The battle for freedom begins every morning.” John Hervey
