Dead people can’t complain, and many would be in danger of dying if they didn’t get their check….

Let’s just hope they don’t kill all the good programs :( I would expect Jared to absolutely be onboard with them but who knows what the numnuts in DC will do.

That’s how Bush won his 2nd term also. Literally the only thing we offered up then was that Kerry wasn’t Bush. Dems were very afraid to take up much of a stance against the war on terror and offered no real solutions to domestic issues.

You totally missed the chance to use "pending regulatory approval" 😜

Just saying nobody would ever pass F9 unless they are also launching their own 7000+ satellite constellation which is all internal launches. So I think when comparing to other rockets it’s good to get perspective on both total and customer only. And F9 customer count for 2024 is still impressive
December 4, 2024 at 2:24 PM
Has Falcon 9 passed Atlas V yet in terms of customer launches? (Lifetime on each).
I’m guessing they probably have at this point, but probably not too far ahead. (Not trying to take away from the awesome launch cadence of F9, but I think customer to customer comparisons is more apples to apples)

Not gonna happen. To make the booster recoverable would be such a massive weight hit for some sort of heat shield that the payload capacity would be reduced to such drastic levels that they wouldn’t be gaining anything by recovering the booster.
December 1, 2024 at 5:19 AM
The problem is the tanks don’t survive entry. They have to separate the thrust section and use the inflatable heat shield to bring the engines back. It’s a lot better than the huge losses that would happen to back the booster survivable as a whole.
