Well - we should never forget local politics, Germany for one is being swept by right wing, who if not directly support Russia, fiercely oppose the Ukraine aid.
They also need gas, and they do have a history that sticks deep in some.

But I’ve found - as I’m an old dude, that shouting in someone’s face gets you nowhere, you might feel relief for a short while, but that’s it - and as I’m in construction, I do have the ability to get tough and rough. I don’t need that.
