My hound has been remarkably well behaved recently. Very little training required, but a "gentle" reminder never hurt it.

Some hounds need be taught the same lesson a hundred times before the message settles into into the space where it's brain should be.
I'm beginning to think this one sees the punishment itself as a reward. Obviously further testing is required.

It begged for me to stop.. a lot. Eventually the point got through and it stopped struggling and started listening. Another job well done.
