There’s no better pumpkin for pie than these blue pumpkins. After you roast them with nothing but a bit of oil spray they are so delicious you can just eat it with a spoon. And so sweet you can cut back the sugar in the pie. I planted four plants and got two pumpkins. I’d have been happy with one.

#vegetablegarden 🌱 Potatoes are almost ready to harvest. A few have been peeking above the soil. I think it’s going to be a good size harvest this year. I harvested the first bag yesterday. Fingerlings. Got about 20 of decent size.

Pictures of my dry garden before heavy rains expected. I don’t have to water it much even though it hasn’t rained much. The raised beds retain a lot of water. I water the pots a few times a week.
