Our first meeting was great, over a dozen people from 5 different towns showed up and we ran out of time just meeting everyone. Our next meeting is Thursday, January 15th, 7pm at Stone Creek in WFB again. Tentatively we plan to discuss the new ADU developments in the North Shore, and more! Join us!

In general, what we want is to adjust our inefficient post-WWII development patterns so that small shops and restaurants can thrive in our human-scale neighborhoods. One of the best ways to help a small business is to increase how many potential nearby customers they have!

Our entire region has to figure out how to rapidly add more people. We aren’t going to do that by widening highways and limiting every family to a single home. Huge parking lots in dense urban areas won’t keep our local amenities solvent like a vibrant neighborhood can.

Many places in the North Shore are lacking nearby third-spaces. Where would you like to see one?

We need more housing, and it shouldn’t all be stuffed alongside our busiest streets. Incremental changes to our zoning could unlock a huge amount of housing in healthier areas, and you’d barely notice it happening.
