When everyone keeps talking about ICE concentration camps, MAGA hate, nazis, etc., there will be people who think they should do something about it. The same thing happens with Muslims.

That's the problem with it all. You'd feel safer with MS-13, but you'd be in much more danger.

Walk down west-side Chicago, south Dallas, SE DC, etc. They all have strict gun laws and more illegal guns per capita and murders than most other places with lax gun laws. Can that even be managed?

I ask because from your posts it seems you're immersed in academia, which makes it most likely that your world view is shaped by that environment irrespective of your color.
Maybe I'm wrong. You might also work part-time out in the world with regular Americans and have complementary influences.
