Two. Florida's Future Land Use map adds extraordinary restrictions on density *on top of* zoning regulations--> major driver of sprawl. Very hard to build anything other than single family fully detached. This one is in Tampa Heights, one of the few areas permitting as of right diplexes & townhomes.

Bridgeport Ct, which eliminated parking requirements in 2021, is now rushing to re-implement them before the state law takes effect, with the understanding that such reqs will be grandfathered if adopted before a certain date.

You only need a residential contractors license for IRC vs a general contractors license for IBC. There's a lot of stuff that adds up that makes building IRC structures cheaper. Its an important distinction, particularly with cost

My understanding is that a lot more contractors are eligible to construct IRC buildings than IBC.
