but also adhd brain too that gets lost in the sauce too easily in both ways (either going wide and shallow and getting overwhelmed by the options or getting tunnelvisioned on something and losing parts of the overall picture)

meee sometimes, there's always interesting papers on arxiv but I'm very bad at the math (been meaning to read arxiv.org/abs/2509.00193 and others lately), eecs.wsu.edu/~schneidj/uf... is also very good reading material and focuses more on practical code though fdtd needs a lot of memory for the grid
