Old bloke, toxophilite, sabreur, motorcyclist, dog lover, socialist, anti fascist, anti bigot.
I am 70 and can still do the time warp to the same standard as I did in my 20s, 50 years of practice and I'm still no better.

Or why replacing a dead map light bulb results in losing the cabin lights, window operation and remote unlock functions..

I think a lot of it comes from the staggering inequality that neoliberalism has spawned, people know there's something deeply wrong and are frustrated. As usual there's always somebody that offers a convenient culprit to blame usually a group that can be easily identified as "others".

Trump at least has the excuse of what looks more and more like the disinhibition and impulse control issues associated with fronto-temporal dementia. Miller on the other hand is just plain evil.

Curtis has an interesting take although I think he downplays the weaponisation of traditional media as well as the corrosive effect of social media where the algorithms result in people mainly being presented with content that reinforces their existing prejudices.

I think more that some people were always racist, the anger is just the expression of their frustration that the majority don't agree with them.

I woke up to the first snow of the year, not much just enough to cover the grass. I'm now officially in love with a heated gilet and insoles. Not quite the smart fabric thermo regulating suit of fiction but marvelous devices all the same.

The result is the main thing, I live in a JW infested area and Baphomet has proven quite effective at repelling them. There is a downside, sometimes I miss the opportunity the occasional doorstep verbal disemboweling.

I used to be a Labour member when the "Labour is a Democratic Socialist Party" on the membership card was a moderately defensible statement. Do they have the gall to still print that on the membership card?

Being a cheapskate I 3D printed mine and it's only a foot tall.

The best hope is that the settlement and legal costs are so high that the corporate penny pinchers figure it's cheaper to actually honour their obligations.

I'd avoid Runes as they have been co-opteed first by the Nazis and now by the Neo Nazis. I've found my Baphomet idol is pretty good at repelling Jehova's Witnessses and so far no problems with deliveries other than a few puzzled questions.

So do we think Trump's minions did rig the census while he was President but with the usual Trump minion incompetence screwed it up?

Will gold teeth be exempted as well as wedding rings?

Judges really don't appreciate incompetent lawyers wasting their time and making a mockery of the legal system.

I have a dehumidifier and a window vac. Not perfect but saves a fortune on heating bills.

Not good but when you terrorise thousands of people you have to expect consequences.
