To be clear, I'm not suggesting to dismiss how stressful the work is. I had full on panic attack breakdowns at multiple jobs that most people would consider "easy". A few drained every ounce of life out of me.

I just think the kinds of places that would post on a local board tend to be more chill.

I've always had better luck with finding out about jobs locally than dealing with any job site's bullshit tbh.

Too many ghost listings and stuff that just never gets back to you.

I recently went into pizza delivery despite not liking driving much, and it's been surprisingly not anxiety-inducing like I was worried it would be.

I guess it depends on what kinda source each person's anxiety comes from tho. That said, ofc the car maintenance and gas expenses are... Something.

I wish I had something more helpful to say, but a lot of the things I see you talk about struggling with I relate to. I've been trying to find somewhere not stressful to work for a long time.

The festival changing paint jobs and robbing people of seeing this is absolutely criminal.

Don't get me wrong, I still love all the other different indie games out there as well, but having so many games that are easy to get my friends on board with has been really nice.

I don't really understand why there's some people who seem to hate the term friendslop so much though.

Final one, since I really liked how the electricity redo turned out.

Definitely was a super complex setup, was certainly interesting trying to press all the buttons to keep puppeteering things to line up with what was happening in game.

In my experience I sorta got cooked trying to run nothing but speed because I'd keep getting slowed with all the stuff flying around.

Plus I've had to get used to letting go of the accelerator or braking at times, since Mario Kart trained me to just hold go.

Literally all I do is honk my horn and steal rings and I tend to get first a lot.

Admittedly, I might be part of the problem, but I just REALLY wanted to rep Werehog and that slowly evolved into me going goofy mode and thriving in the chaos.

I just went full unga-bunga with a power character and big car and that's been serving me well.

I may not be the fastest, or boost well, or have control of my car, or accelerate after I get hit, but...

Uh... idk I guess if I'm in the chaos then I might as well honk my train horn & thrive in it.

Makes me want to slam my fists on my local mall's digital signage.
