I especially like the version that starts with their cover of Silent Running and then flows into Breaking Out

I’m a huge fan of tengu and Season of Ghosts, so I’d probably have to go with this depiction of the kappa/hot springs encounter from the first book. One of my favorites in the adventure so far.

If talking about favorite Pathfinder book, the Travel Guide for sure. As an anthropologist, I love the cultural focus of the world building that most ttrpg settings overlook. Overall, it might be Story as Sharp as a Knife, a fascination exploration of oral storytelling and folklore.

Not a board game per se, but my mom and I were playing a mobile version of Scattegories. I chose Pokémon with the letter Q, figuring she wouldn’t know any. I was right, but she still tried, putting Quirtle (squirtle without the s). We still joke about her favorite pokemon “quirtle” to this day.

As an archaeologist, these Aztec themed bronze dice were perfect for me! Love these!

When I was trying to get back into reading recreationally, I picked up the Way of Kings from the Stormlight Archives based on its cover, and I’ve been reading pretty consistently ever since. Definitely don’t regret judging that cover.

As a big fan of corvids, I’d have to say seeing a tengu would be great, especially if it were if the iconic oracle. I don’t know why, but I just really like the blue robes with the sleek feathers.

I’m a big fan of Eberron and my favorite of their monsters are the Quori. The idea of malicious aberrations that twist people’s dreams to convince them to do their bidding is what drew me to the setting. In fact, my first Eberron campaign, which is ending tonight, has quori as the main enemy.

Haven’t had the chance to try out Starfinder yet, but the idea of fighting with the power of the stars surge Solarion seems pretty cool, and Technomancers fall into this niche I love of combining magic and technology

One of my favorite monster fights was when my party fought Gurglegut in the beginning of Season of Ghosts. They drugged him, he rolled low initiative, and then just dogpiled him before he could even get a turn in. They all felt great about preparing ahead of time for the fight

When first looking into pathfinder, the spell that really caught my attention was Inside Ropes. It just feels so inventive and out there, and kind of a fun goofy or disturbing based on how it’s played. It’s what I want in a non-combat spell
