I have a Braun 12-cup drip machine from the 1980s that still works beautifully. It was expensive at the time but now less than $1 per year. I'm selling it because I'm moving.

Nicholas Slonimsky did this with music. We studied this in the 1980s. He wrote a fake entry to see how often it would be copied. (Answer: distressingly, very often.)
