This is absolutely a coup, slow moving but a coup. The national guard and military have abandoned their paths to the constitution. The US takeover is happening and then it will move on to its neighbors

Sorry Friend, people need to feel safe and with ICE going around and Customs doing strange things many don't feel like it. Maybe in 4 years

I had no plans town enter the US while Trump was president because of reports people were turned away of their social media reflected they didn't like Trump. Now it's because the country is quickly turning into an autocratic dictatorship

Wouldn't that be a double edged sword though? What would have happened had the Governor of Alabama done that when Johnson sent the national guard to Montgomery in 1965?

The world needs different non US based options for social media. Options that wouldn't do these types of bans.

Bill 5 is a total surrender to the developers and companies. I'm afraid that our fears of US expansion is creating an era where there will be no meaningful oversight for development from an environmental, ecological or people's concerns

It's been a while between Trump 45 and Trump 47 with COVID in between but to be honest there have been too many stories of foreigners being detained or turned away for no reason. I really wouldn't be interested in visiting til Trump is out of office and things have settled down
