ZELENSKY could have made a deal to prevent the war from starting: 1) Grant autonomy to the DONBASS region; 2) Renounce UKRAINE's entry into NATO. If ZELENSKY had done these two things, UKRAINE would have remained at peace and would not have lost anything.
