It doesn’t feel like so long ago when I would have mundane thoughts along the lines of “they should bring the Honda e over here!” or “ that Ioniq 5 looks pretty neat!” on any given day, rather than things like “of course, we live in hell, why would any progress ever be made? Hope we don’t all die!”

(Snark aside - it's cliched but it really does feel different when it goes down in your hometown. Also not sure who's responsible for needing a win so bad -- FBI, locals, etc. -- that the now-released suspect was reported/doxxed on CNN, only to be subsequently released, but... bad look, guys.)

RI resident, former Brown employee, former neighborhood resident (1/2 mile walk from that building, which I would stroll by daily) and I'm here to confirm that I am totally reassured by all of this, and I can only assume the wider community is in agreement. Feels great!

Not sure if your kid lives in Fox Point, but if so, be aware that shots fired were also reported on Governor Street. (Lived in Fox Point and worked at Brown for many years, walked that area daily.) Thinking of you and hope your kid is safe.

While I certainly can’t speak for everybody, I will freely admit that I personally follow various writers and creators on this website so I can occasionally read posts and check out things that they have written or created that reside elsewhere on the Internet. Maybe I’m weird though. 🤷🏻♂️
