Already how it works, you already said this.

It’s perfectly reasonable to expect doctors and nurses to be paid well considering they are currently paid well despite the fact that there is entirely useless middleman between patients and care providers

Yes, because I would save money on insurance premiums and out of pocket medical expenses, probably more than 8-12%

Government can pay for them if they are able to negotiate. See: insulin

As opposed to what they currently do? What’s the availability at the Mayo Clinic for your average poor person?

Probably the department of health.

That is literally already how it works in most cases. You are just a billionaire so you don’t know.

So they want to hurt people to make their prospects in 2026 better but also they can’t stand to see how much Trump was hurting people?

They already dissolve studios at the $60 price point
October 25, 2025 at 2:52 PM
Again, that’s okay. 64 games were like $100 adjusted for inflation. If a game is $70, the expectation is for it to be very good and if not it will fail.
October 25, 2025 at 2:34 PM
Totally fine, I think that’s unlikely in the case of a huge release like GTA6, but it’s not my job to say what a game should be priced at and I don’t think you’re a bad person if you agree to pay the launch price. Nobody is obligated to buy a game
October 25, 2025 at 2:27 PM
That’s okay! I’m not advocating games to be overpriced, I’m saying they should be priced correctly. People would probably pay $100 for GTA6, but a new IP like Anthem or whatever should’ve been like $30. It’s very simple: if you don’t think a game is worth the price tag you do not have to buy it
October 25, 2025 at 2:26 PM
It is if the game is priced correctly

The biggest game release of the decade will be next year and will be a hyper detailed game that took 8 years at least to make
October 25, 2025 at 4:25 AM
The market created this problem. For a game to be AAA it has to have an immense level of detail that takes years and huge development teams to achieve. That costs money. Indie games are usually cheaper because they’re either made faster or by way less people and don’t have huge marketing budgets

Ghosts of Yotei released this month
October 25, 2025 at 3:10 AM
The games industry has a litany of problems yes but also games used to be more expensive relative to inflation. They’ve stuck at a $60 price point since they were coming out in like 480i, now they’re in 4k with ray tracing. Idk I think it’s okay to go up to like $70 or $80 for a finished AAA game
October 24, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Games are actually is extremely labor intensive and difficult to make and probably should be more expensive. It’s not like a monopoly is sitting at the top driving prices up through artificial scarcity. If we want studios to be able to survive one flop we should probably pay more
