Also fwiw the main aetheryte in a city-state does NOT count as a teleport destination unless you already have teleport unlocked.
Unsure if this applies outside of ARR. But teleport is still grey and I've attuned to Limsa, Gridania, and Ul'dah already.

Intentionally ran the msq without ever attuning to an aetheryte outside of a city-state. Thus, never unlocking the teleport ability.
A character who finished ARR with teleports has around 35k to her name.
The one with no teleport access just got a job stone and has 28k.
