Abolish parking requirements for all development, housing, commercial properties. Reduce other zoning complications like big setbacks and absurd height limits. Implementation OF CONGESTION PRICING would incentivize development along current and likely expansion of transit corridors.

per mile fee for ALL vehicles set exponentially by vehicle weight. This gives an opportunity for all EV users to pay into the system-- funds could be used for street safety improvements, like traffic calming,+public transit.

Huge benefits: saved commuting time which could be 5-10 HOURS per more per week. Savings of not driving- fewer miles on the vehicle or maybe no car at all--saving at least $10k/yr. Irony: this saves commute time of others who are driving in. Savings housing cost$$.

NOTE: updated part: If avg wt car, maybe a Civic driving avg miles would pay $1,000/yr total, a 5,500 lb truck owner w/ avg miles would pay $3,600 in road wear costs. A person on a bike would pay $0/yr because that's just how math works. 25lb bike would cause $0.0042 wear/yr, if used for 12k mi.
