I'm from Toronto, where I believe over 50% of the population is foreign born. And guess what? IT'S FINE. Nobody gives a fuck where you're from or what language you speak. There really is a fundamental, underlying racism and bigotry in this country.

Nah he's saying to release them now because he knows Bondi will have opened an investigation and therefore will refuse to release them. So he's safe. Unfortunately no. We're still in the backlash of having a black man as president. So yeah it's nice today, but I worry. This country has proven itself to be VERY racist.

Oh he is. But those around him have obviously been so currupted by power that they are willing to do whatever it takes to stay in power. The people who should be checking him won't do it. They think they're invincible. I hope their hubris leads to their downfall.

Dude I'm from Mississauga I get it. But living in NY I'm sometimes reminded of how little people in the US know about Canada. Like the distinction between a provincial and federal govt is just too much to hope for.

Totally, but it's still weird that almost nobody is making the distinction that it's an ad run by the govt of Ontario, a province.
