Working in the UK finance sector has left me pretty familiar with this particular species of over-55s that are still salty that the booze cart doesn't come round on a Friday lunchtime any more. Saying they will quit and actually being willing to do so are very different things.

My first computer was a Sinclair Spectrum with built in cassette player. It made the dial-up modem noise when loading or saving anything.

There WAS a model with a disk drive which used its own proprietary disks that were more chonky than floppy.
