Why anyone would play a native version of any game shipping windows binaries is beyond me. Maybe my experience is an outlier but they often lag the windows binaries in features and performance while sometimes introducing new bugs. There's just too many eyeballs on Proton/Wine to compete.

I think that's a horrible take.
The right's ability to manufacture their own narratives and have those penetrate the mainstream defined the 2016 and 2024 elections.
